I have a 2012 F250 with only 118K miles for the fourth time I blow the turbo tube on the cold side since I have owned it bought it in DEC 2011. This time I replaced the turbo tube with an aluminum machined after market one everything went together fine. Then I started getting these messages that I needed to drive to clean the exhaust then shortly with in a few miles another one to reduce power. Put a scanner on it that gave me the P246C code DPF problem. So why would it give two warning that contradict each other?
I finally sent it to the Ford service and got some "BS" about needing to upgrade my software to get the program that will measure the DPF % of restriction also I was told I couldn't get the program to do a manual regen because I have the King Ranch addition but if it was a standard service truck it would be no problem getting that program. I hate dealers.
