I'm another one of those who has had a fuel pump get sick and run beautifully at idle and up to 30 mph, then turn into a crappy sputtering dog.

Glad this wasn't your situation, but keep it in mind for later... your pump will eventually get too "tired" to deliver, and will offer you the same opportunity.

Don't feel dumb...AT ALL. We have all done it. If you ever get time and feel like reading over coffee, look up my "Whitey goes to Texas" thread. Talk about a learning experience. I was such a novice and made some serious mistakes. We all do it. It is how we get good at this stuff and become 7.3 gurus LOL
