It’s just hard to keep throwing things at it and guessing as I am in college and do not have a bunch of time to mess with it. I know ive already said this, but I’m just extremely confused. I would think there would be signs of something with the HP oil system going but I had no signs of anything as it just shut off on me at a red light. I know things break but it’s just very odd that it went from running perfect to just shutting off one day with no signs at all. Haven’t been able to get it running for about 3 days now and I’ve pretty much killed the batteries just trying to crank on it. I called a local shop in Jacksonville called Supreme Diesel Performance and the guy said if I can get the truck there, then he would be more than happy to look over it with me and not charge me, so I’m thinking I might just have the truck towed there and do that.
Does the wait to start light come on when you first turn the key to the run position? If not check fuse number 22 in the under hood fuse panel. If it is blown unplug the fuel bowl heater an replace the fuse.

Yes it comes on for like half a second then turns off. Like just flashes real quick then shuts off
So I’ve got a really good feeling that because I had such a bad fuel leak that maybe fuel leaked onto the wiring for the IPR and melted the wires together? Or maybe fuel leaked somewhere else shorted something out
So now my question is, could this have caused my truck to shut off randomly? If a fuel leaked messed up the wiring to the IPR, could it cause the truck to not run at all?

Yes to both questions.
If the IPR circuit goes open, the truck will not run.
Well.... sure enough I pulled that plug that goes to the IPR. Wires were melted together. Pulled them apart and wrapped electrical tape around them to keep them separated. Plugged it back in.... BOOOM, truck fired up immediately and is running perfect again. 😄😄.
