A question about coolant flush

I am finishing up replacing my head gaskets and I was looing in the coolant passages. There is a lot of surface rest on the coolant passages. I am trying to decide to do a VC9 flush. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Are you also planning on replacing the oil cooler? If you are I would do the flush, then replace the oil cooler. If not, then nope

If you are not going to replace oil cooler, then use reverse osmosis water with a little simple green. Remove the Thermostat to take advantage of the full flow.

Even though I replaced my oil cooler, I did not use VC9 as I did not want to clog the heater core with all the stuff that VC9 removes.
