Adding keypad to XL

Can a keypad be added to a 2015+ F150 XL regular cab? Has anyone done it? I searched this section of the forum, but could not find out.

We use the keypad all the time on my F250 that I added, so I assume it can be done exactly the same way, but I don't like to assume. My work is selling a 2016 F150 regular cab 2wd. It should be a good truck for my son. Sadly my employer will not allow me to pull the door panel off to check if the plug harness is already there.

Yes, I know many will think it silly that I care so much about the keypad.

I appreciate any helpful insight.

So from what I have gathered as long as the truck has the power equipment group option and the sync system it will have the harness in the door. The other quick way is to use forscan and select the door code and press play to show if the SJB is programmed for it.
