@Scag_Driver what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be sitting on a lawnmower with an HVLP gun in one hand, and a blue cold one in the other... while steering with your knees? Get back to the Covid thread. You'll have a lot of explaining to do when the troops hear you were AWOL, bumping them down.
1. How many holes are there in the expanded metal grid?
2. Are there an even number of holes between the roadside and curbside fields, on the sections outbard of the two central dividers?
3. How many partial holes are there around the perimeter, where the full shape of the diamond was cut off?
4. When looking through the inside rear view mirror, do objects appear closer, larger, or more distant than actual, due to the prismatic diffraction - refraction response of the diamond grid lensing through which you must view?
5. You mentioned the 3 holes in the center of the gusset plates are "just for looks". What are the risks inherent in using those center holes for tie downs, versus using the two terminal holes that were actually intended for tie down attachment?
6. As the gap in the gusset on the inside corner is large enough for a mouse to squeeze through, have you considered a swing door for rodent control?
7. Did you encounter metal distortion or dimensional shifting as the welds cooled, shrinking the angular relationship between bar and plate?
8. How are you mitigating dissimilar metal corrosion where the bolt hardware attaches through the aluminum bed?
9. What angle did you miter the uprights to in order to match the cab angle?
Nicely done, both of you. I mean Y2KW57 and ATC Crazy. Not that poser Scag-whatever.
I'm hoping to put down some ugga-duggas this weekend. The wheels on my trailer need to come off so I can get access to the suspension. Not sure how I'm going to get 1.5 ugga-duggas out of my cordless impact.
I have submitted the information to the top MIT engineers. They said the structure is fine for 2 ugga-dugga's on a 1" ratchet strap without deflection. The 3rd ugga-dugga will deflect at 8.4%
Such a great reply ATC but this had me laughing my **** off. Well done. 👍

Thanks! I aim to please!
HRTKD: Pro tip: You gotta whisper "come on baby" and hold your tongue just right to get that 1/2 ugga-dugga!
hey Bud just wondering how you mounted the rack to your bed. Did you have enough room to drill holes and mount nuts & bolts under bed rail lip or did you have to go thru the outer fender? mines a 2019 and only has a minimal 2 inches of lip space. was thinking of clamps but not sure. thanks
