My truck developed slight clunk and I traced it down to what I believed to be the track bar bolt. I leveled my truck and install the relocation bracket a couple years ago and just noticed a clunk, but I know I did not put the 450ft/lbs of torque on it when I installed it so I figured I would snug it up. Well, I broke the bolt with my 25" breaker bar, no cheater bar. I guess am headed to the dealer tomorrow to get a new bolt/nut, found the part numbers online and the prices are ridiculous, online is way cheaper but I am not good at waiting. I will call around tomorrow, I am in the Houston area so there are a lot of options. Clunk did go away with track bar disconnected... at least tomorrow is good corvette weather.

The dealership near my house can have it by noon for $13.50, I wouldn't mind replacing with a grade 8 bolt but I also don't want that track bar bushing to move around because the OD isn't exactly right. My Dad is headed to town tomorrow and bringing his Proto 600 ft/lb torque wrench so I can do it the right way. Not everyone has one of those, but my Dad (retired oil field guy) has almost every tool imaginable.

The price you saw was for a pack of 4 each. It is how ford sells it to the dealers.

Thanks, glad to know my dealer is charging me full price. haha
Please don't drive around with a grade 8 SAE bolt. Not the right size.
The broken bolt looks to have stretched and also looks to have been installed using an impact tool. I am amazed that bolt failed.
No impact used by me. I have a new OEM bolt and nut waiting for me at Will call at my local dealer. I will use an appropriate torque wrench for re-installation and torque to 406 ft/lbs. I suspect I was too aggressive with my breaker bar when trying to snug it up more, I am 6'5" 245 so I can generate some force/torque.
Yeah when it let go I really thought my breaker bar or socket broke, didn't expect to snap that bolt...
