2001 E450 7.3
Need wire colour for transmission tempature sensor ,was told by gauge company pin 37 at pcm connector or orange wire with black tracer , but since these gauges are made for F series the colours don't match up any ideas what this would be thank you.

Hey motorhome. I have a 2001 f250 w gauges. My trans temp probe was added w the gauages at the test port near the trans linkage brkt.
The guages came w the truck so I didn't install them. But I do recall when I changed the neutral safety switch on my e350 that the test port is just that. A bolt head just above the pan lip. Both of these trucks are 7.3 w 4r100 trans. If you want a photo or something just holler.
