Another example of given not earned with people these days especially of his generation and that's coming from someone that's his age...people like him give guys like me his age a bad wrap and here I am still trying to make a name for myself and we wonder why middle aged and older adults don't give younger people a chance. Thanks for ruining it for us 20 somethings out there buddy

Don't give up. As long as there are people like you, there is hope .
He probably makes more money destroying stuff on YouTube than 99% of the people that are bothered by this.
Also, he is not nearly as bad as the film industry. Hollywood ruins so many classic vehicles. They can afford to pay 30-100k for a car and then wreck and scrap it. If a car is wrecked or blown up in a movie chances are they destroyed multiple similar cars for the movie to get the best "shots"... Best example is Duke's of Hazard.

I remember back when the Duke's was on TV. Our local paper had want ads running to buy those cars for the show.
There are so many other 20 somethings on youtube that are doing good things. I watch two of them thecraig909 and goonzquad. both of these are doing amazing things.
Just go there and give it a Thumbs down LMAO... I know a few folks that make more than 150K per year posting stupid vids ... wish I got my foot in the door years earlier and then I wouldn't have had to work for a living... I know a couple here that Pan Handle under the overpass bridges and haul in over 80K per year...
and to think I'm a Retired Electronics Engineer with a number of Patents and I struggle a bit on my retirement... it's my fault... I should have been a Garbage collector
my wife's Granddaughter makes over 500 bux a night in a strip club that's about 200K per year and we ain't even talking extracurricular activities.
What he's doing is essentially a business decision, I looked him up and his net worth is estimated to be around 20 million. His YouTube channel currently sits at just under 1 million subscribers and each video he produces averages around a million views, He's making a good chunk of change to produce content for YouTube given his subscription and average viewer count, his whole channel revolves around doing controversial things, I literally just watched a video of him tearing apart a new $100,000 SEMA show Super Duty with a excavator. As of right now that videos been up for two days and it about to hit a million views, He's been working that Super Duty over for a few months now each video averaging around that many views, he's probably already made back that 100K he spent on it and then some.
My biggest issue with his content is him as a person, if the dudes got millions of dollars and wants to **** it away on stupid crap like this, than be my guest, its your money, but he wont be upfront about what he's doing, What he's doing is business, he does this because it earns him money, and since we're being honest here, if most people could figure out how to exploit some niche (in his case destroying trucks) and make a lot of money doing it, they probably would, but this WhistlinDiesel guy try's to act like he's some kind of moral authority, that's what TRULY bothers me about him. In most of his videos he makes comments like, (This truck is gonna get wrecked now because my haters couldn't be nice) or (If my haters would stop sending me death threats I'll stop doing this)...BS dude, straight up BS, you're making way to much damn money to just end your channel and in essence your livelihood just to prove a point. Just be honest about what you're doing, you destroy nice things for money, the end. That's all it is, don't preach to me about morality though.
