Good morning - I have a 1977 F250 Crew cab 4x4 I bought a few months back. It's not a highboy. I have slowly been working on things like a newly refurbished interior with sound proofing, cleaning up the frame, etc. I haven't found a lot of rust luckily, but, I haven't stripped the paint yet, so there may be some surprises.
My dad had a 77 with a 302, 3 on the tree that I grew up learning to drive on, so mine is a tad bigger, but still bring back some good memories.
The long range plan is to convert it to a diesel, and use it as a daily driver. I don't have the knowledge, space, or ability to do it myself, but I am trying to learn as much as I can so I have an idea of what I'm up against when I get to that point. The current 351M won't pull your hat off, but, I know it needs some carb work and some tuning, so maybe when I get that done, I won't be in too big of a hurry to convert it.
