So much work in the LBC

Greetings from Long Beach. We just picked up a 1963 F100 a few weeks ago and I have started stripping things down. Previous owner was a real hack so I have my work cut out for me. Motor (a '68 302) is strong, C4 is currently being rebuilt. New tires and brake shoes are on their way. Need to take a look inside steering column to try to get blinkers working and need to get a brake light switch installed, then I should be legal, once I throw the new gas tank and freshly covered seat back in her. So much to do, my head is spinning, but I love every second of it. I'll get around to posting some photos soon.

Thanks in advance, my new community of friends; I'm sure you all will be a valuable resource.

Well I wouldn't exactly say that. I cut out a small section of passenger floor board today. And drained about 60 yrs worth of rust and debris out of a small hole in frame, incl a barely recognizable old AA battery. Nothing like a little battery acid to accelerate the process! Not too big a deal, and overall just that and the steering column hold down plate, that I'm gonna try to fab from an old separator. I got this!
