Hey guys, glad to be here. I'm just north of Houston, in Tomball and have recently picked up a 1970 F100 XLT Ranger. It's my first experience wth these trucks and I feel like I picked a great candidate to start with. It's 100% original, 99% complete and I picked it up from a guy who's father bought it new in 1970. It's a really well taken care of truck (I think) and so far it's been pretty easy to work on. i'm looking forward to being here on the site and I'm sure I'll need some help along the way to getting this thing the way I'd like it.

As of now I have converted the front to disc brakes using the Wilwood kit, very easy install and I highly recommend it. The rear drums are staying and they've been completely rebuilt as well. I have a complete set of stainless brake line on the way from Inline Tube. Also have a new power brake booster and master cylinder. It's a factory power brake truck. I also have a DJM 3"/4" lowering kit which I'm in the process of installing now. I am partially through with that then got called to go to Mexico for work! I'll finish the install once I return to the states. I have a set of Ridler 645 wheels with Nitto tires all around. I'll have to widen the rear wheelhouses so the rear will fit. The original engine is a 390 and it has about 105k on it. I'll replace the entire top end with Edelbrock heads, cam and intake. I'll top that off with Holley Terminator EFI.

As of now I have about 80% of the parts, jut need more time to get everything installed. I'll post up some pictures once I return home from work.
