I have a 1993 f150 with a 302 It has more then enough power but after helping my brother put a 350 smallblock in his S-10 I need something to show him up. I know that I can swap the crank and a few other parts and make it a 351 but I have heard rumors of a 426 small block terror that interest me. Does any one know where I can find out more information about it?
You could get your own s-10 or ranger. Just kidding well kinda when you factor in hp to weight ratios you would save yourself some money if you went with a smaller truck and a v8 doesn't cost as much to make them go fairly quick. There are many offering for the 427 sbf stroker. Check out scat cranks, eagle as well as Paw performance they have a complete longblock kit that runs $2995. I can relate to the s-10 v8 bug due to a brother haveing one. You might consider a forged internal 351 with a healthy shot of nitiros, a little bit cheaper, except you must fill a bottle. Either way you go if you have to stay with the efi then plan on paying out some additional money to make it go. Good luck
go to northernautoparts.com and get a 347 stroker kit for 699.99.it has crank pistons and a few other items.buy some headers, get true duals w/glasspacks and change air intake.
