Howdy,
I added a receiver on my van today. Plan to add the 7pin socket and then a brake controller. The bad is the socket really didn't come with any useful instructions. It has a 4pin flat plug that plugs into the 4pin plu that I do have. Then it describes what the blue, black , yellow and ground are for. But no info on where to find those in the vehicle. The good is from what I understand the van is wired for it. Does anyone have a wire diagram or info that can help me?
i found this 4wire round plug on the frame above the axle. Also there is a 2 wire flat plug there.
I've done quite a few searches. From what I understand the other leads I need for the round plug are found at the small round plug pictured above. I ordered a egr pigtail part s677 and it fits that plug. Anyway that will keep me from having to hack up the factory pigtail. I'll report back once it's finished.
