Yep , mine is 16k and it is 3200lbs on the pin.
At that pinweight , it's really easy to go 4000+ on payload.
I'd like to see that scale at 2600 lol

That means that a 16,600 lb 5er only has a 2,600 lb pin weight? I think that's borderline unsafe load distribution as you're getting close to sub-15% on the pin. I think 18-22% is a more common goal.

Are both vehicles that you are comparing 4.10 rear ends.

there is a big torque difference between the gas and Diesel engines which in itself makes a comparison a non comparison when pulling 16000 lbs .
