The very right side of my instrument keeps blowing the light after 5 minutes of running. Stock incandescent burnt out after I got the truck. Replaced with a new old stock light bought a long time ago and that blew. Then my dumb *** put a LED in not thinking much of the situation and just killed that. Whats up with that? everything looks fine on the board. All other lights are fine. Its just the light that does the right zone. I can get the ID number of my circuit here soon if that helps.
Have you tested the bulbs out of the holder & dash to verify that they are truly bad? The only thing i can think of is that the bulb holder itself is marginal, & makes contact intermittently. Replace the bulb holder with a different one, or clean all the contacts on the holder, especially the ones where the bulb makes contact.
Is the body of your cluster solid at the bulb holes? A lot of the bodies start to crumble & the bulb holder loses contact with the PC.
The two dash lights are on the same circuit, same PC traces. So if one bulb was blowing due to high voltage, they both should blow.
