Late availability usually means Job 2, which is A long way off..(guessing) April.
Thats not good. Need the truck for a Jeep function then. I guess I could go with the same color as the last 5 vehicles but was ready to venture out and try something new
I just noticed that it appears the front air damn has changed and gotten bigger. No?
You ever notice on all heavy duty trucks, there's no EPA MPG rating? Why's that you ask?... because the dealers or the government doesn't want to admit the vehicle sucks gas or provide the numbers to prove it. Then you see something like this.. an under bumper air dam for a lower wind drag coefficient to increase gas mileage. That's like slapping a TURBO badge on your car, so people think it goes faster.

Respectfully...
Do you think any of us buy this product for fuel mileage?
We buy it for many reasons, but MPG is not one of them. Having said that, why should Ford stop trying to do their absolute best to make them more efficient? All considered, they (diesel) does pretty well on fuel mileage.
As far as the air dam, as an owner, you have the choice of leaving it or removing it. I’ll be leaving mine intact. It doesn’t bother me to the least bit, and goes unnoticed.

I am with you, my only concern is clearance. Sometimes I need to drive off road here on my place and while I dirt trails to follow I sure don't want to rip that thing off, with hope it has some flex, but I also intend to keep it on.
Clearance may be an issue Oaks, especially if the front end is slightly lower. But I’m guessing a nice bump in fuel mileage because of lowering/air dam directing more air smoothly under the truck, coupled with new power and a higher pressure and more advanced fuel system. . Just be careful.
My off roading is simply getting coffee at a McDonalds drive-thru.
