I believe the reason Ford is lowering Super Duty trucks is for the RV community. I just bought a 5th wheel(1st 5th wheel) and it has 16" wheels and a 2" lift. My 5th wheel sits pretty level. Without those changes I would imagine a 5th wheel would be nose high.
If you cannot clear that parking garage entrance sign....
Where my wife works, she has a parking garage. Was picking her up after work one evening with my F250 and I cleared the height sign and started toward the building's door to pick her up. Found several pipes and obstructions that I would have absolutely hit, had I not stopped and turned around. I don't take the beast into parking garages any more.
Not in a city Oak. I let my wife choose the size. She was adamant about the looks. Hates the LB. my sons doesn’t like them either. I don’t particularly care for the LB unless there is a DRW fender to break it up. I almost went with the 450 for that look, but practically got the best of me.

I certainly concur, but I buy LB due to NEED otherwise SB would be the solution.

Well the value is with the LB. You are getting the whole truck for basically cents more. A no brainer for you.
I own 5 trailers, one for any hauling need. My box is basically useless to me other than hauling small stuff and some fresh air around.. it’s just my summer sports car.
It just really sucks that Rams are the only trucks left that sit up the way I consider a truck should sit. The whole conforming thing just bugs me because Ford has never done that with the SD. Not sure if I speak for anyone else but I always liked sitting up higher than most other vehicles on the road.
Not knowing about lifts, I wonder how hard it would be to install the Tremor lift kit on a non-Tremor truck. I usually like to keep things stock but I will have to compare the 17-19 trucks vs 2020 on the dealer lot to see the difference. I'm hoping it's so small of a difference it will be a non event.
Jeez, that air dam is huge. Can we pre order Tremor air dams too? I only kind of kid. I really think it getting bigger just makes people want to get rid of it more, especially with the little Tremor one.

Lowering..big air dam...10 speed/3:31....better fuel system..new turbo...all about power and fuel mileage.
It’ll be interesting to see. I’ll bet we will be approaching 20 mpg.

That's what it looks like Ford is aiming for. I'm sure the ones that put on a lot of miles will love it. I ordered an F350 7.3L 4.30 for specific reasons and fuel mileage wasn't one of them because I think that 10 speed covers it well enough. I also thought they were not going to mess with F350 ride height and yet they lowered that too. Who know's, the lower ride might provide better handling and mileage and be worth it.
Did the salesperson give you an estimated delivery time rame? I got mid January as a loose quote. We are hoping on Tuesday to get the VIN and a better timeline.

Dan,
I got the same answer. The dealership will call me sometime this week with a better idea.

My dealer gets VIN updates on a Thursday. He also gets a call every Thursday!
