I cleaned the EBP sensor I cleared codes after cleaning EBP and took it for a drive and as expected contribution balance code cylinder 6 came back but now I have the same code for cylinder 5 which as you know is right across from 6. Could 6 be causing 5 to throw a code? I just replaced 5 back in April.
ficm logic the lowest volts I had today was 12.5 and on the ficm itself the lowest I seen today was 47.5 volts. Now I have a question about the EBP sensor. Today I drove around about 30 miles takin care of some stuff my EBP psi graph on torque pro was flat lined the whole time. Is that just because my OBD II port just isn't sending over the data for the EBP or does that mean my EBP sensor isn't working at all? Trucks an 03 deleted with head studs.
Number 5 is motorcraft from KT performance and number 6 is an original motorcraft from before I bought the truck it's not original as in from when the truck was new but original as in prior to me owning the truck.
It is not uncommon to get codes for the injector before and after the injector having issues. I had #7 go south on me and it was bad enough to toss the before and after cylinder codes.
Do a contribution test on a cold soaked engine and go from there!
