Van Buren Missouri Car Show

I drove my truck to Van Buren, Missouri Friday afternoon to enter it the car show yesterday at the Big Spring, at Ozark National Scenic Riverways, National Park. Our middle son works there as a Park Ranger. My wife followed me in our Jeep as she was bringing some things to our son for his house. We went to the show yesterday and had a great time . We met a lot of really nice people and we won the trophy for the longest distance driven, 150 miles. We had a lot of really positive comments on the truck, many were especially fascinated with the Mercedes diesel. Here are a few photos.

A nice '49 F1

'64 Chevy 1 ton that the owners Grandfather bought new.

'46 panel restored by the Missouri Conservation District

'61 F600 and a '30 Model A

This is the Big Spring that forms the Current river. The largest single fresh water spring in the world.

My trophy.
Thanks, Mark

Congrats on a good time, Mark. The truck is gorgeous. But that big, empty flatbed is screaming for a matching 8N tractor to haul around, just because it would look cool.

Congrats on the trophy. Thanks for the pictures.

But you should have won an award for best big truck or best overall truck!

Wayne, Thank you for the kind words. I actually have a '49 8N that my Dad helped me paint about 10 years ago. It still looks nice, but I need rear tires and I need to fix the brakes. That is a beautiful F6, I would like to letter my doors eventually when I decide what I want on them. I also have this that I need to restore and put back on the bed of the truck.

Thanks, Mark
