I dont think it would be noticable, I couldn't tell, my stock were 19#/hour injectors and I replaced them with ~24#/hour (not sure at the moment) and the truck definatly ran better, especially at mid-high rpm range.
Ok thanks for the info, i'll change them when i can, so about how much did those little devils cost??? I'm also planning on getting dynomax headers, and a twin 61m throttel body, and later down the road i'm planning on getting the heads and intake ported, with flat top pistons. What do you think?
I think that would help it move pretty good, if you think your truck pops while downshifting now just wait until you get the heads and intake ported, when I ported the heads and intakes on my truck is when I got annoyed enough to replace the injectors. I got mine at the salvage yard, luckily they are color coded, I think yellow is the stock 19# and white is the ~24#, or the other way around...I bet someone else on this site would know better than I would, the place charged me $20 for the set of em
The explorer engine has the best top parts on it, but the mustang 302HO block has a better lower half, a common thing for the 5.0 mustang boys (my brother included) to do is to take the explorer upper/lower intakes, throttle body, heads...I think that combo puts out 240+ hp at rear wheels (brother dyno'd his, but that was before the explorer GT-40P heads with ford racing rockers)
I think the explorers stock for the 2000 year was like 230 or 240 horses
