So unless you have Forscan, this COD F50 kit is useless for a 2020 truck?
Yes, you do need to make some small Forscan changes for it to work in the 2020+ trucks. Go ahead and send your worthless COD module and wiring harness to me and if you'll pay the postage, I won't charge you to properly dispose of it.
I checked my order page and my F50 shipped today via fed ex in Florida. Hopeful it comes early, says it’s arriving the day we are leaving towing to the Grand Canyon.
That ain't fair !! I ordered mine the same day as you but at 9:30 AM - 8 hours before you ordered yours, according to your post anyway. You got an "in" over there or something ??
I just checked my order and they haven't done anything with it - and I paid for expedited shipping too.

WAAAAAA !!! 1st world problems !!!
Hahaha. F50?
Well maybe yours will come and you can install it, while mine is sitting at a fedex facility waiting for me to return. Gone for a week and would have been able to use it on a 1500 mile drive.
Oh well. Will just have to use the cameras as Ford dictates for now.
Side note, would love to see a pic of your truck. Seems we have a few similar projects going.
I ordered the F50 yesterday and just got an invoice with a FEDEX shipping number today. I was going to delay installing until I get the camera recall completed on my 2020.
Also wondering if deadline is today or yesterday. Conflicting posts. Just saw this.
thanks.
Hello my apologies. I had a typo on the first post and I thought I wet back to change it. The deadline is supposed to be today. The 31st of March. Thanks,
Ordered and shipped. Had a couple of questions and instantly got answers even at 10:00 CST. I had purchased a similar module for a 2017 Nissan Titan and had a back and forth fight getting it shipped for over 2 months. Was wary going down this road again but the discount swayed me. Pleasantly surprised at the customer service and swift shipping.
What is the price to add a auxiliary camera for the back of a trailer. If I understand correctly the Nav f50 just unlocks the 5 factory cameras and has one output for adding a camera
But the camera doesn't come included in the kit. I see the trailer camera kit on the site Trailer-Cam View TCV-FD-AUX 399.00. Is this the only trailer camera kit available? Just so I understand I can buy just the trailer cam kit and it works with my factory screen. But if I don't have the Nav50 kit I just can't use any camera's well driving. Do I have this right?

I checked my order this morning and it is shipped. Supposed to arrive Friday - perfect for my upgrade party scheduled for Saturday.
Good luck and travel safe !!
Once I get this last round of mods done I will post up some pics.

The kit is almost factory and shows up on the aux video on the screen. https://navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT92...cv-fd-aux.html
or, you can order the "Customer Placed Camera Kit" from Ford. I also recall a thread here about using a regular aftermarket camera connected to the UTT system as a trailer camera.
I was going to order, but this makes me hesitate. I really think I would hate the reverse view not be automatic in reverse.
You would probably dislike it a lot more maneuvering a trailer and wanting the trailer camera to come on every time you go from forward to reverse instead of the default "front of your 5th wheel" view.
The F53 adds 3 additional video inputs to the harness. They can be controlled with the upfitter switches. Seen some videos where they add some thermal cameras.
Both modules work with the Ford aux camera. I have that actually with the TPMS for my RV and love it. It’s the reason I want to get this module in the first place. So I can see the that camera while driving.
The kit they sell is pretty much factory and integrates with the truck as such. But they don’t have TPMS.
I didn't ask but perhaps if the need down the road is the auxiliary cameras, it may just be an additional part or two instead of a complete new unit.
