We are over the 30 since yesterday. So we are good to go on the orders. I heard they will start shipping by Monday or Tuesday for the ones they have on hand. The rest, they will have to make.
So with this when you put it in reverse it doesn’t default to the split 360 view and back up camera anymore? It goes to what ever camera you used last? Is that correct?
It remembers the last setting per front or back. So if you keep the reverse on the split view, it will return to that when you put it in reverse.
We made the 30 minimum order. So all orders are good to go from now on. Remember the last day to partake in this is on the 31st.
Please please please remember to tell them what year your truck is in the order notes or by sending an email to tony@navtv.com along with you order number. This is important to make sure you get the right one.
They also wanted me to let everyone know that they will be offering their aux trailer camera to anyone who buys any of these modules at a 20% discount. Retail is $400 you will get it for $320. You can even purchase this up to two weeks later (after the promo is over) and still get that discount. The kit is almost factory and shows up on the aux video on the screen.
I was going to order, but this makes me hesitate. I really think I would hate the reverse view not be automatic in reverse.
I think I might have not been clear on explaining it. The memory function is per front or back. What I mean is if you don't change the reverse view it will always default to the factory split view. If you happen to change it while towing to another view, then it will remember that one. If you change the view to the front, that will NOT affect the reverse view. So for you, it will work as you think it should. I am in exactly the same boat. I don't want to mess with the reverse in most cases. I only want to change it when towing the RV to default the AUX camera. Once not towing, I want it back to the way it was. So in this scenario, I would change once when I'm towing and then again when I am not. Pretty cool actually.

Maybe dumb question of the day: What's the difference between these two units? They both appear to say the same thing - same model years and same options (trucks with 5-camera systems). Mine has all the cameras and UTT. COD-F50 COD-F53
I didn't know they make an aux camera for these trucks. How does the camera quality and price compare to the Ford camera? (I was planning on going with the Ford Camera & TPMS system). Most importantly, I can't imagine that the NAV-TV COD F50 wouldn't work with the Ford Aux Camera system if I go that route, right?

The F53 adds 3 additional video inputs to the harness. They can be controlled with the upfitter switches. Seen some videos where they add some thermal cameras.
Both modules work with the Ford aux camera. I have that actually with the TPMS for my RV and love it. It’s the reason I want to get this module in the first place. So I can see the that camera while driving.
The kit they sell is pretty much factory and integrates with the truck as such. But they don’t have TPMS.

They will start shipping the ones on hand this week. the rest they will have to make, they did ask to allow for a week in order to make those harnesses.

I checked my order page and my F50 shipped today via fed ex in Florida. Hopeful it comes early, says it’s arriving the day we are leaving towing to the Grand Canyon.
I joined the club today - placed my order for the F50. Thanks to @hmayasi for all the work he's done here to help us (I assume he's had lots of practice trying to heard Toyota owners before this). And thanks to @ZooDad for his continued input and support.
I look forward to getting the kit, installing it and seeing all it can do. I know I'll be happy not tapping on the display to have it show the last one (my preferred).
Been trying for over an hour to get registered & place an order. Entered my registration info, address, etc, entered the discount code which it accepted but wouldn’t recognize my trying to register. Just kept dumping my input & giving the same screen to fill out the blanks again. Started at 11pm. After midnight it decided not to recognize the discount code - said “invalid”. I thought we had to the end of the day on March 31st. Anyone else having problems? Frustration building! Giving up til morning don’t want to take it out on the iPad!
