Hello all,
So in a recent post that I submitted, I installed a ready lift leveling kit on my 19 F250.. I had it aligned at a local shop that could work on a long truck. Anyway, when I got i back, the truck now drifts to the left and the steering wheel is still turned very little to the right. When I straighten the wheel, it turns to the left. Today, I had it checked again, they say it is at factory specs. Is there a different way that the alignment needs to be done? Different specs? I had 2 F150's that I leveled and never had an issue with the alignment. I am not sure what else to d. It ran perfectly straight before the leveling kit.
Tighten your track bar(450ft/lbs) very very tight, mine was loose and did the same thing. I had a slight clunk when I juggled the steering wheel back and forth, turns out the axle was shifting side to side causing the steering link to push pull, causing the wheel to be perfect some times, like when they did the alignment, then easily get knocked out of alignment while driving. It drifted all over the place because the entire axle could move(slightly) left to right. And this all happened of course after adding a leveling kit. The same one you got actually.
Post up where your located and maybe someone will have a shop they used. If youre in Orlando look up Nix & Black Automotive, they did mine and it drives like stock..
Mine pulls to the right since day one. I adjusted my drag link to make the truck track straight when holding the wheel straight. Pretty easy task but you’ll have to make small adjustments and try over and over then lock it down.
