Hello all. I have a 2018 f350 KR. This past saturday while cleaning truck I saw both batteries had a lot of corrosion on the positive side. After cleaning the top noticed the batteries had a crack on top. I went by ford that same day. They told me need new batteries and cables. I bought truck new may 2018. It has 44k miles. I also purchased the ESP plan also. Today, they told me the batteries are not under warranty, but the cables are. I understand the mileage part but a year and a half the batteries are this bad? What's to say when they replace them, they dont do the same thing? I was just really disappointed in having to shell out money 1.5 years into this truck. Any help would be appreciated.

kind of sounds like it’s hit or miss if your dealer will give you some type of credit or not. Maybe get your actual salesman involved if they still work there
