What about the trans??
I think I have a reasonable understanding of some of the problems that CAN happen with the 6.0 engine, but what about its 5speed automatic trans?
I have the 6.0 trans cooler on my Late '99 7.3 truck with only 158k miles-LOTS of folks with the 4R100 trans have had failures early on though mine has been fine with regular filter and fluid changes.
I'm now looking at an '07 6.0 truck with just 129k original and was curious about the 5speed auto.
