Hi guys need some help with identifying a component in my 5.0 L. while doing a little dusting and cleaning I noticed some green corrosion and a brown area on a crossover? tube. I have no idea what the part is or its function, injector related maybe? I am bright enough to know it should not appear to be leaking. Any help in identifying the tubing would be greatly appreciated. So when I talk to the ford guys I don't sound overly ignorant. Thanks Note Brown area
Thanks for the hint as well as the identification. Does not appear to be leaking anything but can't figure out why the brown spot and appearance of having green corrosion unless it is a plated copper line with a bad plate spot. There is nothing that would rub in that area at all. Going to talk with Ford service tech this morning.
