Hey guys my 2014 f150 stx doesnt have power windows or locks, but I would like to put in remote start especially with the colorado winter coming. I know the ford PnP wont work but would the viper systems work since its hardwired into the truck or perhaps another system?
Any aftermarket system should work. However for the factory remote, from my understanding you should only need the keyfob and program it to your truck, add the module and antenna. So you would just need the module, antenna, keyfob, and FORSCAN to enable it and the key. I think this is a good FORSCAN link but i cannot verify my current internet connection has the forscan site blocked.

Would I be able to use the ford factory system even though my pickup doesnt have power windows or locks? If I can use the ford system I would prefer that
I am not sure honestly because it would look for the double lock before starting... aftermarket might be your best bet. I would get FORSCAN anyway its nice to have and take a look to see what modules your truck has. its free just need a CAN to connect to a laptop.
It is a Program you can get it allows you to hook up to your truck and read DTC and change options on your truck, I turned daytime running lights on my truck. You need a Can bus to connect the OBD2 to a laptop.
The windows version is free to download and use, and you can get a 3 month license to use it free.
