I have a early 90’s engine/pcm harness from a Mustang I think using it for a MAS conversion it has a smog delete.
My question is about power connection for the distributor, fuel pump and the PCM all go through a relays and have fuse wire and tied to the battery side of the solenoid (a brown/orange a green and a yellow)they hook up to their relays, but I am not sure that it correct terminals do they go to terminal 87 or 30?
And if hooked up wrong did I cook my pcm
Not enough info to say...you will need a schematic from the donor car's service manual to answer your question. In general terms, the leads on the coil terminals are not polarity sensitive nor are the wiper/contacts...that said, within the wiring harness you may find that there are other leads that force the polarity in one direction or the other.
