So i have a 95 and within the last few days its developed a problem that i cant really identify. I was hoping you all could lend a hand.

My truck idles and starts normally but when i shift from park to reverse or from drive to reverse it idles down below normal rpm and then dies. Afterwards its hard to crank. I have no idea as im not a certified mechanic in any capacity. Any help would be much appreciated

 

No idea, but I'd start by changing the fuel filter and air filter. Then a full tuneup (plug wires, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor and a new coil ) If that doesn't fix it, have the codes read to see what's there.
