I would love to put bucket seats in my 75 f250. Has anyone else done this before and with what seats? I unfortunately have the gas tank in the cab so it might be harder to find seats that will fit. Post some pictures of your seats!
just go to a salvage yard and pull some seats out of something that you like.. not hard... im gonna go with something probly early 90s, or so,. and needs to be cloth and like 60/40 split bench.
The split bench seats from a pre-97 will work. You have to fit the old seat rail and it sits slightly lower, but it works just fine, width wise. Finding a clean bench of that vintage can be challenging and so begs the question if you had to re-upholster the original or a '96 split bench....what would you do? The split bench (60/40) is nice. One could argue the head rests make it safer.
I tried '06 F150 seats in my regular cab truck, my knees were literally on the dash and I am 6 foot tall. For a SuperCab or CrewCab, most likely not a problem. But as mentioned, you will have to make a bracket. I reupholstered my bench seat and put it back in.

Good point. I'm 6'3", but it's also a SuperCab. Didn't think about that.
I went with Corbeau extra wide suspension seats to stay firmly planted when wheeling. Stock seat belts won't work with these though. I got the seats and the frame from JBG, and everything bolted right up. For seatbelts I have their 4 pt harnesses mounted somewhat unconventionally, and I usually only use the lap belt, but it's nice having the shoulder harnesses available.
