Well if you dont have the in cab gas tank your options are wider, but some of these old trucks were offered with bucket seats that are identicle to your early mustangs, and I have seen pictures of them and they look good.

I have a pair of Mustang II seats in my '69. It took some fab work to get them mounted but they are comfortable.

My '67 has S-10 buckets(Ya, I know chebby). They were FREE and I thru a pair of nice seat covers on them and also fabbed some mounts. Nice and comfortable.

Both are high backs and fit with the gas tank IN the truck still. Granted you don't get alot of seat travel, but I don't worry about that. I'm tall, and just have them mounted back as far as they will go.

I mounted the seats out of my 65 Mustang in my 72 F-250. I still have the incab fuel tank and it all fits and looks ok. According to the parts books, the 68-72 F series were available with bucket seats and they were mustang seats. The seat backs are thinner on the 65-6 Mustang seats and will allow you a little more room than the 67-8 seats.
