Another thing to consider is an upgraded intercooler. The factory one gets heat soaked pretty quickly.

I got a review unit from CV Fab that is pretty nice. I saw noticable temperature drops with it installed. There are other manufacturers making them too, but CVFab is generally more affordable.

I may be misunderstanding something, but a cold air intake will not cool an engine down. On the contrary, the purpose of a cold air intake is to cool the incoming air so that it will be more dense (i.e. more air than hot air). This will increase the power output of the engine, and would actually make the engine hotter.

I do believe the OP has decided to have the radiator checked. Your right in that the intake has nothing to do with the overheating issue.
