I have a 64 F100 and I’d like to get a bit more room for my belly when I’m driving. Does anyone know if Ford made different lengths of underdash steering column mounts?
I've wondered about moving mine by removing the spacer. Removing 2 of the three bolts that mount the steering box. Allowing the box to pivot as the column moves up to the dash and re drilling for the two removed bolts. Or cutting the steering shaft and putting a universal joint so the column can move up to the dash.

I didn't realize they came with a column drop. My 64 doesn't have one, but it has the CV in the front and the original column is gone. I'm not sure what my column is even from, or if it's the original that's been cut down.
Nice interior. Mine is the original column but it might have been pivoted a bit when they put in the POL rack and pinion steering. I think I’m going to raise it up like yours.
4Ever2, What's the bracket to the left of your parking brake for?
Nice catch. That's an old aftermarket Trico unit. Google 90961. They were good until the piston seal failed or the housing cracked, you could get some sweet siphon action and douse your feet.
It's hard to imagine my column dropped down a couple of inches. The original wheel was already in my lap the way it is. The smaller wheel is a cheap swap meet find that helped make it more comfortable to drive. It doesn't help that I'm tall and slightly thick.
I want to put the stock wheel back in, but that's going to take a shorter tilt column.

That looks like the truck GDG from the Slick60s forum built. How long have you had it? I think he built his around 2009 and it had that same dash paint scheme. If it is his old one I think he used an early 70's f100 column.
