That's what I thought you meant. I'd have to look up your vehicle for specifics but you should have a plastic can near a frame rail that has a line to the gas tank, a line to the intake and a lineto a solenoid for controlling the release of vapors to the intake.




I gotta go for now.

I'm back. I believe this is where you got the code 31 from. I would think that your vent line is hooked up. Does this line that is plugged appear to come from a vacuum source? If so, it should probably go to a solennoid that is between a line running from the vapor can to the air intake.

All I know is that when I pull the little hose with abolt in it, It definetly has vacuum here.

How small iis that hose? There should be one about 3/8" that goes from TB thru a solenoid that just "hangs" ( with a 2 wire plug on it) to the vapor can. I believe that the sol should hang off the left/front of the motor and the vapor can should be in the right front(?) corner of eng comp.

Yes, It is 3/8". Do you know what that solenoid is called?

Can't remember the exact name of it. EVP(?) Purge solenoid(?) I think they usually sit or hang right above the front of the left valve cover.
