Has anyone had experience with these two types of carb spacers? I'm using a 1" four hole but am considering a divided plemum to incorporate nozzles for water/meth injection. Main concern is idle low speed responsiveness. Don't know how much effect if any to anticipate.
I have experience with the four hole, stock type spacers only. Combined with the dual plane stock type manifolds they are generally considered optimised for lower rpm, while the single big hole spacer that's usually used with a single plane intake manifold is for higher rpm.
Since your main concern is idle low speed responsiveness, the four hole type is the correct one. The stock spacers are not cast solid so difficult to adapt nozzles into. You can buy solid four hole spacers from Summit and other places, however.
