800 miles later and 12 hours later this trailer load of goodies followed us home. Front half of a '57 F250 with good cab corners and 2 Budd 71410s, two decent short box style side bedsides, and a donor cab that will give up its radio trim ring, magic air heater controls and other misc. items. Will update later with more pictures as some parts may be for sale at a later date to prevent them from going to the crusher.
You and your dad are on a run of good fortune with those 71410s, Ryan. Those two more than paid for the trip across SD, and as I recall you guys had a similar trip deep into MN not long ago that yielded a bonus set of 71410s. Good goin’. Stu
Trying to corner the market on 71410's, now we have more wheels than bias ply traction tires. We currently have enough trucks to mount the on so that's a good thing. Yesterdays adventure was more reinforcement on my new outlook on parts pricing. Due to flooding it literally took us two hours to drive what normally takes 45 minutes. Must have been 700-800 miles, 12 hours etc. But it was a epic turn and burn and I got to spend the day with Ryan.
after a long day on the road yesterday I figured it would be a good idea to go look for some more treasure bright and early this morning, a deal was made on the 2 trucks pictured above, they will be drug home in a week or so and cleaned up to hang out with the already pre existing herd for awhile
