Storing without support

The newer designs with the metal reinforced corner mounts can stand on the jacks - as we have seen (and as the RV techs have advised me) is being done. The older campers with the 2X2 wood corners - no! They need bracing. Some of the repair guys have told me that while they can, they prefer to see people put something under them for long term storage. I made mine for our old 97 Lance Legends 880. Since I've already got them, I use them for storage.
I no longer lay them out under the camper and take them with us on trips. With the new Lance Camper, the supports stay at home.
