I would go with the R Fos if i were you, although i am pushin subs with my punch power 1500W amp, i think it would push some highs pretty good. Don't know much about what kind of speaker wire to go with ur reg speakers, all i know is subs...hope it helps
couple of those in sealed boxes would probably rock the crew cab eh?
Would they?!? I got two 10 O's that are killers! Alpine is a bit pricey but they have a good rep and make top of the line stuff. The Avionixx line is great. i will be adding one to my set up real soon...
The A's are the top of eD's line up. I can't see how but i am told the A's will play lower the the O's. When i play my system you feel the bass more then anything. If your not into competion and whant to save a few dollars go with the O's
The A's play louder the O's If i was going to run a single sub set up I would go with an A.
don't buy a new rockford amp....or anything rockford for that matter
an alpine mrv f340 would be perfect
if you want good subs try alpine type r's
i work in the circuit city road shop and right now the 12's are 130 bucks 10's are 110 heck of a deal, they get loud and they're real accurate as well.
SS what can you from your expirience tell me that one shouldn't buy anything rockford thats new? Just cause they don't give away all the free power they used to and just cause you can buy them at ciriut city doesn't make them crap.

Rockford earned there reputation off the punch series right? well the engineer who developed the punch series worked and mtx before (obviously know for good amps). he used one of his designs on the punch amps that were really good. so anyway mtx kept using the same amps that he desigined will he was at rf. when the road thunder series came out is when the guy left rockford and went back to mtx and now rockford is banking of the rep of the older punch series. but since they've completely changed the design from what it was... its gone down hill they use cheaper parts and shoddy manufacturing processes. thats why i say don't buy rockford fosgate
RF is not a company of just one designer/developer. That rumor has been going around for years. What proof do you have that RF is using cheaper parts and shoddy manufacturer processes? Most of the RF amps i have heard of that have blown where user errors. People running them below 2ohms. My X6 is a monster and doesn't get hot at all. It just barley gets warm and I like to crank the bass up.
