Ford Ac Recharge
what recharge kid will i need to use to refill my airconditioner in my 99 explorer sohc xlt. is this the right onehttp://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...=10101&TID=101

You don't use a kit. You need to put a set of gauges on it to determine if it is low on freon. If so, the leak will have to be repaired, the system should be evacuated, and then filled to the proper level with freon.

The compressor cycling can be caused by a low charge, but there could be other problems, hence the suggestion to put a set of gauges on it to actually determine the fact.
Freon is not consumed thru the system like engine oil. If the system is low of freon, it has a leak, which should be repaired to possibly prevent more serious and costly repairs.
Do as you please with the recharge "Kit". You asked for advice, so that's all I offer.
