There's a couple different outfits (individuals) that sell online or on Fleabay, that sell refurbished or rebuilt stock type Autolite and Motorcraft carburetors. That's what I bought for my slick and have been real pleased. Exact same carb it shipped with. It should bolt right up and only need minimal tuning.
For what its worth, avoid the rebuilt carbs from Auto Zone etc. When I rebuilt my 240 years ago, I went through 4 from Auto Zone before I got one that ran right and didn't **** fuel from the casting. Unless you are wanting to keep it all OEM, put a 4 barrel Offenhauser intake on it with a Holley 390 cfm carb.
I put a Holley 1940 on mine. I also replaced the distributor with an HEI style distributor. When you turn the key it immediately starts (Faster than what I thought possible). Also, I gapped the plugs at .040. Now it runs better than it ever has in the 5 years I have owned it.

A vehicle with HEI and a carb will definitely start fast, actually quite fast, since there is no need for the vehicle to wait for a signal from the computer on a modern vehicle. I put HEI on a car, because Pertronix failed twice, and the car started so fast I was shocked. With the HEI and .040 gap it runs great not to mention the carb adapted to the engine.

What are we looking at? I've been running pertronics for years, even carry a spare module and failure has been zero. Starts faster than you can turn the key and let go. The set up in the pics looks to need a college degree.
Well I have the Pertronix II in four cars, all Fords, except this one which isn't Ford. This car burned out two modules with no notice at all according to Pertronix after looking them over. The standard Mopar electronic ignition wasn't behaving itself either and I didn't want less than 12V. So I created my own HEI using parts from Standard, and holder for the HEI module that goes on the bottom of the distributor, scrap metal from the USS Hornet machine shop for the e-coil bracket, and then a Bosch relay to route full power to the plugs. When running the plugs get 13.3-5 V at all times now. The Fords also have relays feeding power to the Pertronix. Oh, and the carb is a 2150 on top of the Mopar 360. Their Holleys are junk and pretty much unrebuildable. I can tell you this starts way faster than any of my Pertronix cars. Turn the switch and you can't let go fast enough as it is just on and you never hear the starter turning.
Pertronics modules always need a constant 12v. The Holleys I have always had problems until I started blocking the main body to flat. In the last few weeks I have checked the 3 4160's I have for spares and all of them were warped so I did the following and the results are amazing.
Not true. The original Pertronix 1 works just fine with the factory resistor wire which makes it the easiest to install. I put one in my truck anticipating a long trip and didn't want to chance the points giving out.

I was running a factory 428 CJ 735 cfm Holley with annular boosters on my 408 Windsor with Duraspark II and an MSD Blaster II coil. As soon as I hit the key it lit off. Unfortunately I didn't use high enough octane gas for the 10.2:1 compression. That is the first Holley I've used that ran good at every RPM; no bogs or hesitation. Someday I'll put that engine back together... and only use 93 octane gas!
I bought a new 1-bbl carb off Ebay for $60... only a few more bucks than a rebuild kit.
It works like a charm. I just try to not think about where it came from.
There's not a lot of options for 1-bbl out there at this point.
