Ok, here are the newest symptoms, truck wrench light came on, idled high but drove fine but only half power, took to my shop, put older diagnostic on it and said throttle pedal but since was outdated (goes up to 07 and truck is 08) decided to put on my buddies new snap on. When I started to leave drive to go there truck decided to go in super limp mode so had to limp it there at 10mph. His also said throttle pedal sensor, bought new pedal but was still the same, cleared codes and it came out of it. Went to start again and it came back on, gave up for day. Next day started diagnosing again with his brand new snap on diagnostic computer and could not pull anything wrong, ran regen program (although said was not needed) cleared codes and was back to normal, took for test drive and all good. Hauled excavator from my home to shop no problems, let sit at shop for a day while i serviced excavator. Next day started up to move in driveway and load excavator and wrench came back on and idle went up. Put old diagnostic tool on and cleared code it went back to running normal, hauled excavator about 20 miles up big hills etc no problem, plenty of power, not a hiccup, parked truck and used buddys excavator until where they needed me a few hours later and when I started truck wrench light back on and high idle but still hauled excavator fine about a mile down rd, shut off, unloaded and when I started wrench light was out and everything normal, went to brothers for about an hour, went to restart and wrench back on and idle high but had throttle response, cleared codes and back to normal and drove home! Now I know there is nothing wrong with my truck, just resetting the wrench wont stay reset! Why why why???
please help, i have no money for dealer work, always done everything myself!
