Hello, new to site. I’m looking to replicate my dads old 1968 ranger. He has been gone for many years just have one picture of it. Any help would be great! Thanks This is the only picture I have. Can’t quite make out color.
A1steve,
There was a recent post titled "Restoring '68 F250 Interior - finding details" that you may be interested in, if you haven't seen it. In the picture of your Dad's truck it looks like the seat upholstery was a lighter colour and there is some info on that in this earlier post.
Thanks for the reply! Yes your right the visual of an actual truck helps. Appreciate everyone’s help with this! I’m in the planning stages still I’m sure you’ll here back from me plenty. Thanks again!
That's a tough one from the old pic. But it sure looks like a nice color green!
It's almost a darker and shinier Boxwood Green, but not quite. Looks more green in the pic where the Holly Green of Centennial's (beautiful!) truck.
But it's close enough that the picture hue could be throwing me off.
Definitely dig into some dark corners below the dash or seat or wherever some original paint might still reside.
