I actually have bought paint for it, and it is 2004 competition orange. Its the same color that is on the Harley Davidson F-250s. I just don't know if I want to go thru all the steps in painting it with that color. Kubota orange is definately alot easier to spray, but I hate to copy Kubota.....hehehe
Mud toy, street and show? Orange&black, red&black, yellow, black, lime green&black. Is the outside going to be one coloer or two. Mine is not a show truck so I went with trator paint, if I scrach it I just give it a nother coat. Love the your truck!
Its going to be my daily driver on the farm to keep miles off my good pickup and my mud runner/hunting truck.
I was thinking about camo'ing the truck out, or painting it with tractor paint to keep it simple. I got use of a heated shop this winter, so I won't have to wait till spring to paint it like I initially thought I was going to have to.
Another thing, I am building a custom dash for it, I don't have a speedo-cable and am going to be running Auto-Meter gauges in the dash, what do I need to get for a speedo/cable to make it work? It has 4.10 gears, NP435 tranny. If its too much of a hassle I won't put a speedo in it and just mount my GPS in it or run it off my Tach.
well, id say blue, but that be like the captain so id say that out, cause you wanna be unique. How bout white? i dont think ive seen to many white mudders. sure would make the mud stand out. how bout go like pro and go with panty dropper purple?
Some of the trator paint needs a harder or it will fade fast, within two mouths. All of mine run off the tack not the speedo. The tires are bigger than nos. And how did you get photo on the post?
