Weird Electrical Issues
While mowing my yard this evening I noticed my trucks tail light and running lights were on. The truck had been sitting since Thursday night and my lights were in auto mode so I found it odd. Grabbed the keys, no power locks. No nothing. I have it connected to another vehicle and I’m getting juice now but not enough to start the truck. Are my batteries just dead or is this something else? Never seen the light so this on another vehicle with dead batteries.

I’d say your battery is dead (was drained).
Best to charge it with an external charger vs a booster and the alternator, especially if the battery wasn’t relatively new to begin with
Once you do have a good battery again, check the voltage for draws. Maybe a door wasn’t shut tight?

It seemed to be drained batteries. Just found it odd the lights were burning on their own. Light switch on auto and doors locked up tight. I am in Texas and the heat has been really bad, perhaps just sitting three days and the heat zapped them.
