Thought you guys & gals would like to see these pics. This spring this customer brought us his 2006 F350 crew cab Lariat. We put 2008 King Ranch front seats front console rear seats and all four door panels in it. Guess he liked it so much he brought his Excursion!
Here is some info on the parts:
2008-10 King Ranch front and rear 40/60 seat.
2011-16 King Ranch flow through console
2008-10 King Ranch front door panels
2008-10 King Ranch dash.
We left the steering column & speedo but the customer may upgrade both to the newer style in the future.

How hard was the dash swap and is their a thread for it ? And what steering wheel can be swapped into an ex?
Steering wheel upgrade options are early generation Lincoln Navigator which I believe is the only plug-and-play upgrade. Another option I believe is 04 - 08 F150 steering wheel what that may require some wiring.
As the above poster noted E4 Motorsports has a lot of write-ups pictures documentation and information on these interior swaps. He is one of very few that is modifying the new Dash speedometer clusters to work with the older trucks with the newer dashes. Believe you would send him the original speedometer and the newer style speedometer and for a grand he sends back the newer style speedometer. He also sells a steering column wiring kit.
The dash is a fairly large job and I suspect my neighbor will not want to tackle another one for some time LOL!
Not sure who I am answering but I bought a NOS King Ranch wheel from a Ford dealer in 2015 and was a straight swap. My truck only had cruise on the wheel. Popped the original off and popped the new one on.
The one caveat is the the steering shaft is really narrow and marking the splines is a bit tough and once I got going down the road I realized I was off by at least a spline and my wheel was slightly cocked but not enough for me to re-do it.

I don't think the front seats are a direct swap. If you watch some of his (Zachary McFarlin) videos he has one where he walks you through on wiring up a later model seat to work on models like ours. The guy is pretty sharp.

where are you located? I would love for you to do the 2008 KR seat swap in my 2001 excursion.
Just recently purchased my 2010 F350 SD Lariat and also found this site. Excellent work on the swap! Looking to do the same, curious what "gotcha's" I will run into and also noticed that the center console has pass thru vents - not sure how that would connect based on what I currently see. And, is there any issues with wiring up power seats from King Ranch in place of Lariat?
