I've had the truck for about 2 months and I remember it being about 17 MPG when I drove it off the lot. Since then it has gone steadily down and is now about 13 MPG consistently. I admit I had my foot on it quite a bit in the first month but now I'm trying to be easy on the throttle and it's still about 13 MPG and that is mostly country roads and freeways. If I watch the economy gauge in the dash it even shows about 13 with moderate to low throttle. I still have the stock tires and it is a Canadian model but I thought that shouldn't matter. What do you guys think and what type of mileage are you getting?
12-14 MPG is pretty normal for me. I drive a lot of city/stop and go driving, and have 37" tires, but before I upgraded to the larger tires I was really consistent on 13.1 MPG. Again, I drive 90% city streets and in my business, I make 20-30 stops per day.
I think it has more to do with the "mileage guestimator" than anything else, it takes a little while for it to settle in, my truck followed that same pattern as yours, and at about 2k miles it decided on 13.2 mpg and I am now at 10k miles and it doesn't seem to care how often or not I reset it I cant get any better than 13.2,... unless I'm on the highway.

Ditto here. After a couple months mine has settled on 12.8 steady. Started about 17 as well..
So is the average MPG about 13 for these trucks? I know I had way better mileage with my 06 Dodge, 05 Duramax and both my 7.3 power strokes. I haven't hand calculate my mileage yet and I think I might have to to get this figured out. Anyone hand calculated and it was higher than the "guestimater"?
Maybe I'm lucky with my truck. 15 around town and 16 to 17 mpg on the hwy depending on speed. Fueled up this morning and took a 125 mile round trip and got 17.4 mpg. Speed limits were mostly 55 to 65 mph and then 40 mph for about 20 miles. Only time my truck burns a lot of fuel is when towing our 17K pound 5th wheel when I get 9 to 10 mpg depending on speed.
13 mpg on a 6.7L? My '12 F-250 with the 6.7L routinely got 18-20 on the highway. When I traded it in the overall fuel economy was in the mid 17's. My 17' gasser is averaging 15.4 overall according to the lie-o-meter. Somethings amiss. You're not in constant regen are you?
The only time I look at the MPG is when I record it in the log during a fill up. My '07 Titan got better mileage, but not by much, so I'm not too concerned.
13 sounds kinda low for mixed use driving with the diesel. Typically, from what I've read, the diesel gets better mpg than gas in all driving conditions, city, highway and towing.
I haven't put many miles on mine yet, 1700mi., mostly city, unloaded with a few highway miles mixed in, I'm seeing 15 mpg. Highest I've seen since owning it was 15.7, lowest was high 14's. I should be putting some more highway miles on it soon and hoping to see better numbers.
