Yes, the 2020 C 8 Corvette beats the Ford and and its 99 cameras hands down. The Corvette has a Rear View Mirror that is not a mirror, its a camera Screen!!!

All those Ford cameras and I still have the same view as when I had no camera, I can not see my load, anything behind me unless it shows up in the Rearview mirror which is so 2019!

I'm confused, are we comparing a Corvette to a Super Duty? ....either way, I would rather have a Ford GT.

The 2019 Chevy and Gmc half tons ordered with the TECHNOLOGY PKG have it as well.
The new 2020 Hd's with the tech pkg have it also.

 

I'm holding out for sideview "mirrors" that are cameras with displays on the dashboard.

 

I am waiting on a fix from Ford on all the problems .

 

That ugly $&@%# Chevy HD needs something to try and make it attractive.

 

My wife's Subaru Ascent has the camera for the rear view mirror. It has the option to make it a traditional mirror or with the camera. We never take if it off the camera as there is nothing blocking the rearward view, like big headed grandkids, too much shopping trip stuff piled in the rear, etc. I wish Ford would offer it.

WOW, Chevy, GM, and others have it, cool. First I saw was on the new 2020 C 8 Corvette and way cool. Us truck guys should have got it long time ago, I want to see my load, what is behind my 5th wheel or load I am pulling and have a good view. There are hacks to turn the rear cameras on, but $$$ so I have not done it. Wish Ford would.

 

Did they change the body have not seen any new ones

 

I discussed this very same idea with my son about 8 years ago. I guess I spoke too loudly. I’m checking my house for bugs as soon as I get home. 👿

 

A Corvette is an old mans car. Every Vette has a 70 year old driving it. It lost its appeal in the 80’s for me.

 

I am too. Although one thing I thought about is how big HD trucks mirrors are and how difficult it would be to fit two extra screen that size in the interior. I suppose they could have the display a normal size and then just zoom but then the field of view would be bad.

 

The C-7 Vette is one beast of a machine. Good thing for me is that I have a single stall garage filled with Harley's or I'd have one in there for sure.
