So I have a 91 f350 that's missing the front fuel tank on it. Used to have a service bed on it but I've taken that off and I'm currently in the process of putting a normal bed on it. Before I put the bed on the truck I'd like to get a front fuel tank thrown under it. I don't think the truck has ever had dual tanks in it before considering there's no switch in the cab to switch from one fuel tank to another. Was curious if anyone knew exactly what all I needed (as in parts) to make this happen. I know I need the tank and the fuel pump, and the switch but wasn't sure If they run different fuel lines or what not. Any help is appreciated.
I think you will find it easier to put in a larger rear tank than to gather all the parts to make a dual tank setup.
Do a search on the site for 'Bronco tank conversion' which will help you. It's to put the larger Bronco tank in place of the stock 18 gallon tank you have. There are also aftermarket suppliers who make big replacement tanks, I had a 36 gallon tank on my '90 F150 back in the day.
