This is probably the dumbest thread on here but does anyone else have problems with the cup holders being to big and not being able to hold anything??
I have a middle folding seat in the front with the cup holders when it folds down and every water bottle and cup flies out when i turn or have to hit the breaks!!
Has anyone else had this problem, or are there any suggestions???
What is a cup holder? I don’t have any of those so no experience there. The cup holders in the plastic center floor mounted console are too small for most plastic cups. A can of soda fits fine but that’s about it.
Yes, the 90's cup holders don't fit ANYTHING they make today. Even cans are slightly larger now and won't fit correctly. Yup, they fall over when you go around corners. PITA.
I found some old cup holders from growing up(plastic that hung on the door) and cans don't fit them anymore either. WTH???
I made some from 3 inch id stainless tubing, about 3 inches tall, welded onto a 1/8 stainless plate about a foot square. It sits on the center of the front bench seat and does a wonderful job, and will last forever.
I got a contractors console off amazon as I have a solid bench seat. cup holders are adjustable, it doubles as an arm rest and the lid flips forward for a writing surface, works great
I have the 40/20/40 seat with the fold down armrest in my 1995 and I've had the same issue with them, but I have found the large 32 oz Gatorade bottles fit into them perfectly. My solution has been to drink more Gatorade lol.
then the 32oz Gatorae doubles as my all new coffee cup that don't spill, those rubber flaps really grab
I actually misstated that, it's the 28 oz Gatorade bottles that fit really well. Rinse a few out and they'll make good coffee cups. They fit really snug into those cup holders, they don't fall out around turns. They look like this-
